Abstract:
This paper examines gender differences in adolescent on problems of adolescent delinquency in Nigeria Universities and its implication on qualitative management of school based HIV/Aids education. It was a descriptive survey study. 400 university students were purposively sampled for this study. A validated and tested reliable questionnaire was used to elicit response of these adolescents students on common forms of their anti- social behaviour .Data was analysed with the use of both descriptive (frequency, mean and percentage) and inferential statistic (X2) to ascertain whether these students response was related to gender. Findings revealed that from the fifteen items analysed, three of them were not gender related. It was further revealed that the most common form of administrative measures used in controlling this anti – social behaviour are suspension, expulsion ,panel setting and verbal rebuke. The implications of this study on qualitative management of school based HIV/Aids education were highlighted in this study.
