Abstract:
Implementation of information and communication technology (ICT) services and systems in organizations generally poses a lot of challenges that, if not properly addressed, lead to heavy investment without the corresponding organizational efficiency gains. This paper highlights the common challenges based on the experience of the authors in working with various organisations in Uganda. Best practice recommendations to addressing the challenges are also given.
