Abstract:
The article is based on the findings of the tracer studies by Innovations at Makerere Committee (I@mak.com). It identifies areas or gaps for which new skills
were required to meet the service delivery gaps/challenges under decentralisation.It narrates how the university and the local Government worked together to find practical solutions to these problems. Solutions included curriculum reforms aimed at developing skills necessary for poverty eradication in Uganda.
