Quality assurance in curriculum development

Nakabugo, M.G.; Masembe, C.S.

Abstract:
The authors begin by providing a broad definition of curriculum development as well as the various stages involved.  An attempt is made to define the term  "quality" and the different contexts in which the concept may be used.  Quality assurance within curriculum development  may be understood as " the measure of the value of what a curriculum does and the system of benchmarks that are used to make sure that the curriculum maintains and improves standards on a continual basis".
